She has been creating art for decades! Painting, drawing, fiber arts, and most recently her training has been in, Printmaking; Relief - both woodcut and lino, Intaglio, Lithography, and Serigraphy (screen printing).
Designing serigraphy projects had brought her to coloring pages - instead of immediately creating screen prints, she allows others to enjoy coloring in the designs themselves!
Joann earned a BFA in 2D Studio Art with a concentration on Printmaking, and a Minor in Art History, from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
Having all of the tools to create any kind of print was marvelous - until...well, you know when. Suddenly she was creating a home studio and because of the presses and chemicals involved in many types of printing her focused became screen printing.
Since screen printing is her favorite method of printing - this was a win-win!
The image in the middle is a monoprint of a woodcut.
The image above is a screen print.
Both of them are available in her store!
