About Joann Mariahazy

She has been creating art for decades! Painting, drawing, fiber arts, and most recently her training has been in, Printmaking; Relief - both woodcut and lino, Intaglio, Lithography, and Serigraphy (screen printing).

The designs created for serigraphy could not all be used at once, so she used those designs to create a line of individual hand drawn coloring pages! Now, these designs are also used in Cards to Color! 

Joann earned a BFA in 2D Studio Art with a concentration on Printmaking, and a Minor in Art History, from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. 

While being in the Studio at UWO and having all of the tools to create any kind of print was marvelous! And then...well, you know! Suddenly she was creating a studio in her home. Not able to work with all the chemicals and having no printing press, she focused solely on serigraphy.
